Description

The RE-WBF guide is designed as a stand-alone '4' Roller Mono Bloc Guide or as shown below in conjunction with a Stabilizer Guide. When used together, this unit is ideal for the accurate control of the 'Fluted Square', 'Dog Bone', and 'Former' passes for "Multi-Strand Slit Rolling" where it excels over all other designs. The WBF guide may also be used as a finishing mill entry guide for SBQ (Special Bar Quality) bar production.

The 'Stabilizer' Guide controls and vertical deviation of the bar from the effects of the up-looper, whereas the 4 WBF rollers control any lateral deviation. This 6 roller contact provides the most stable entry conditions prior to slitting, guarantees the best accuracy for quality results, and thus, reduces the occurrence of cobbles.

• Rigid cast stainless steel or, for large sizes, carbon steel guide body for non-flexing, accurate guiding for Special Bar Quality (SBQ) rolling.
• Single point, simultaneous on-mill adjustment of all four guide rollers.
