‘Sliding Saddle’ Rest Bars are essential for smooth pass changing and on-mill alignment adjustments.
The rest bars are adaptable to most rolling configurations.
Lateral adjustment may be manual or power assisted.
Designs are available with X, Y and Z-axis adjustments as may be required.

- Bronze wear pads. Adjustable for wear and easily replaceable.
- Laminated steel wiper blades to remove mill scale from sliding surfaces.
- Water shed design to guide mill water and mill scale from sliding surfaces.
- Rugged acme thread lead screw for lateral adjustment. Supplied in SAE4140 drive shaft steel.
- Backlash eliminator. To ensure positive, accurate adjustment.
- Positive, single-point saddle locking system.
- Safety saddle lock for vertical installations.
- Special designs are available for “housing-less stand” configurations.
