Description

This is a simple ‘directional’ trough type entry guide designed to present billets and box shapes into the early passes in the roughing mill section of the rolling mill.

The width of the guide is adjustable by the use of different thicknesses of guide shoes.

Wear plates are installed in the nose and sides of the side guards. The wear plates may be water cooled if required.

Guide Features

• Spacer shoe to suit different product sizes.
• Body made from Steel or Cast ductile SG Iron.
• Wear pads may be fitted to the internal profile.
• Tie bolts are used to secure both halves when using the ‘Split Style’.
• A top cover is available as required.
